ISO 7206-2 specifies the sphericity as well as the surface finish requirements for articulating surfaces of total and partial hip joint prostheses that provide a joint replacement of ball and socket configuration. Test services evaluating the dimensional properties (sphericity and surface roughness) are provided by EndoLab®.
