ISO 5832-4: Implants for surgery - Metallic materials - Part 4: Cobalt-chromium-molybdenum casting alloy

This standard specifies the chemical composition, microstructure and mechanical properties (tensile) of the widely used CoCr casting alloy. Tolerances for the individual chemical elements as well as for the mechanical properties are provided. The test methods for the mechanical properties (ISO 6892-1) are referenced.
