ASTM F3141: Standard Guide for Total Knee Replacement Loading Profiles

Loading profiles (straight walking, pivot turn, stair ascent etc.) are described in ASTM standard F3141 and can be simulated using the EndoLab® knee joint simulator. Simultaneous testing of three (plus soak control) specimens enables rapid and economic developments. The wear of the specimens is determined by weight loss according to ISO 14243-2.
