ISO 21535: Non-active surgical implants — Joint replacement implants — Specific requirements for hip-joint replacement implants

This test is an annex of the specific requirements for hip-joint replacement implants. The test is performed using a complete (stem and cup) implant. The anatomic motions are tested until impingement occurs. This test can also be performed in combination, or solely by CAD analysis. EndoLab performs both physical testing and CAD analysis. The computer-aided method allows a quick check of the entire portfolio.
