Simulation Engineer FEA (m/f/x)

Your tasks
  • Conducting FEA simulations for medical devices
  • Customer communication and consulting
  • Coordinating & executing the entire FEA process
  • Validating FEA results and methods
  • Developing analytical and laboratory protocols to support FEA validation
  • Developing relevant QM documents (SOPs etc.)
  • Reading and understanding international standards (ASTM, ISO, ASME, etc.) and writing gap analyses
  • Participating in the development and updates of international standards (ASTM, ISO, ASME, etc.)

What you bring
  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of FEA software, preferably Marc & Apex
  • Educational background in solid mechanics
  • Very good fundamental understanding of FEA principles
  • Very good understanding of the assumptions used to derive element models
  • Work experience in FEA (3-4 years)
  • Good knowledge of English (B2-C1), motivated to learn German
  • Optional: knowledge of ASME V&V 40
  • Optional: experience in the medical engineering field
