EndoLab® GmbH determines the ability of the delivery system to be pushed or positioned by an operator without bending or buckling. EndoLab® GmbH evaluates the ease of advancing the delivery system into the model (pushability), the ability of the delivery system to track over a guidewire during insertion around bends in the model (trackability) and the ability to transmit torque from the proximal end to the distal end of the catheter (torquability), if applicable.. For trackability and pushability a universal test frame is used, whereas torquability is tested in a custom test set-up by EndoLab®. The vascular model is described by ASTM F2394.
